Sintra, although is one of the most touristic points near Lisbon, is a nice little place with lovely palaces. The one I visited and the most recommended by the people I had been talking during my stay in Lisbon was Palacio da Pena.

At the very first view, I completely lose all ideas I have been thinking of before visiting it. “Wow!” was the first word coming up to my mouth. I was blocked staring at these picturesque walls. The palace comprises not just the palace building but an enormous forest, a lake with ducks, and also a place to get relaxed!
